Another outing courtesy of the wonderful Hidden in the Hills program sponsored by the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center. This time to North Hill Garden in Readsboro, Vermont. After a brief and welcoming introduction, we were invited to wander on our own through the lush and overgrown woodlands, with naturalized plants overflowing into narrow, barely visible paths, across small streams, into hidden corners and nooks. The North Hill Garden is blessed with a micro-climate that extends the short Vermont growing season, with plenty of rare plants to thrill a horticulturist. For this casual gardener, a chance to meander with friends through a private garden on a sunny June summer day.

Thanks so much for following Oh, the Places We See. It’s a pleasure to read about your 251 Project and other posts on life in the Eastern US. I’d love to visit Norway, Sweden, etc. Just may never get to that part of the world, however. So following you will be my connection! Best wishes for happy travels. http://ohtheplaceswesee.com

A belated thanks for the follow! I am currently on a long stretch of traveling without regular internet, but hope to catch up with my blogging before too long. 🙂
