Sunny and crisp early fall morning. Back in Vermont. With impressions of Denmark swirling in my head.
A chance stop at the Nyborg Castle for a walk around the castle grounds and the western edge of historic Nyborg town before crossing the Storebæltsbroen to Sjælland. A mix of cobbled streets, grassy embankments, climbing roses, pink-orange bricks and the rust, yellow and red of half-timbered homes from the 1600’s – interlaced by waterways.
More impressions of Denmark to follow – before they get lost in the day-to-day of returning home.
