A trip to the Champlain Valley is not complete without a detour to Shelburne Farms, just a couple of miles west of Shelburne‘s village center. Woodland and pasture hiking trails, wagon rides, an animal farm-yard, award-winning cheddar cheese making, a bread bakery. And a food cart that features locally grown and sourced food. Gorgeous vistas of farmland rolling like waves into Lake Champlain – and a very grand barn. What is not to love?
