So Long Helsinki – For Now

This last morning in Helsinki it is raining. The last few days have brought a mix of weather, some overcast gray skies, but also sunshine – along with cooler temps and winds. But without fail every evening has been clear and crisp, with blue and white skies changing to a lovely pink, perfect for long walks late into the night.

More to follow. Now it is time to board the plane – and indulge in one more cup of cappuccino and a sweet, warm cinnamony pulla. Though I will miss most the twenty hour-long twilight evenings and nights, and my walks through the beautiful Helsinki cityscape.
