A Vermont Autumn Mosaic

Posted by

Last night, the orange Hunter’s Moon rising full in the east at sunset. This morning, the wood stove taking the early morning chill out of the house. The past few weeks graced with mild daytime temperatures and the glory of autumn colors lingering in the uplands and valleys, along lakes and rivers. Higher elevations bare limbed, fallen leaves dry and crunchy underfoot. Farm-stands overflowing with the fall harvest, fields and pastures still lush and green. Summer long gone, the golden light of autumn intoxicating and seductive, bare trees heralding the purple-grays of November.
