A perfect storm of sunny, beautiful, warm spring weather in Vermont this week. Flashes of brilliant blue in the woodlands signal the return of the bluebirds.
On the way north to the airport in Phoenix last week, we detoured through South Tucson in search of a bite to eat. A random hop off the highway and a quick glance at local restaurant reviews (thank you Yelpers!) took us to a lovely corner of the city for a delicious brunch in the bright and colorful courtyard of La Cocina. Just a brief glance and a few camera-phone snapshots of the neighborhood left a lasting impression. A perfect ending to a fun trip west.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to visit parts of the US that I’ve never been to…

Maybe on your next trip to the Northeast we’ll tour the Southwest? 🙂
