Cooler weather, a day in sunny New York City, the concrete canyons turned into wind tunnels, the streets shady and chilly. A day of art and bakeries – and fun with friends and family. Signs of spring in pocket gardens, bulbs bursting out of the ground, winter’s debris littering the streets. Crowded and noisy, an abundance of good food. I love the excitement of the city, but was eager to head north again, the car stocked with baked goods from the grandaisy bakery.
