Enjoyed exploring the RiverWalk, the 19th Century Main street architecture, and the Midwest Museum of American Art in Elkhart, Indiana. Strange that on a beautiful sunny Sunday early autumn afternoon the streets were almost completely empty and coffee shops and restaurants were closed and dark. Restoration and arts projects in progress, visible efforts to revitalize the downtown area. Tangible hope and vision for an active, vibrant downtown.
